homecoming hairstyles for oval faces
so first i use erborian bb cream foundation so the following steps including this part will be the same base for every make up i try to apply the foundation all over my face though i don't need much because my skin is quite good next i use bb eye concealer and a corrector/concealer i only use it for small spots such as red areas or small things like this
so just a little so i repeat these steps before every makeup next i use a black eye pencil i only use it under the eyelid i'll use a different product for the eyeliner and only on the upper eyelid, not under the eye ! next i use an etude house liquid eyeliner, a black eyeliner the line must be thin with a small wing
basically it's a classic eyeliner next i do my lips i use a red lipstick from guerlain first i apply it using my finger but then i will use the stick on the outline of the lips so that it gives an "unfinished" effect it musn't be perfect and completely covered but it should be colorful enough
and well-done even though it's deliberately not perfect then i use the same lipstick to do the blush it might seems weird i use a lipstick but to me it looks way more natural if you use a lipstick but you'll see later that i use a powder blush at the end so it stays red as you can see now i'm applying some right under
the eye right under the iris that's what gives the larme side that you can see on the magazine looks then i use a finishing powder i use a transparent powder from rimmel because it's the only colour that fits my light skin so just use your usual powder, don't mind me
as for the foundation i don't put much of it just enough to cover so that it looks smooth then i use a powder blush for the cheeks only to fix the blush so that it will last the powder will fix the colour for the first hairstyle i decided to do something risa inspired it's quite simple to do
first i divide my side hair from my back hair because as you can see i have a kind of hime-cut well it's a casual japanese haircut with shorter side hair and so it makes it easier to reproduce japanese hairstyles especially for larme hairstyles so i divided my side hair then i curl what i've left the curls shouldn't be too tight but at the same time they should look regular and cute
i rather use a iron to curl my hair because i think it look more natural than with a curler and to be honest i'm bad with curlers i fail at curling the end of the hair and it looks craggy.... irons are way more easy to use and it makes more natural, simple curls so it's perfect for larme then i curl all the hair left you'll see later that i'll tie my hair in a ponytail
and it's way easier to curl them now that after it's done you have to curl everything but it's ok if the curls are different it's ok wether they're large or small curls because at the end everything will be tied together just make sure the curls look ok till the bottom so that the tip has a nice, cute shape people often ask me how i curl my hair with an iron it's not hard to do but it's true you need experience and i know i've tried many times before liking it
you have to press, to secure the hair inside the iron and at the same time you wrap it you slowly go down the hair while you continue to rotate with the iron so that it makes a really nice shape instead of just wrapping it and wait you have to 'help' the hair to curl and rotate at the same time so that your hair curls in the right way
so that it doesn't look 'angular' next i take back the side hair i've left at the upper part because i have to curl them too in fact i should have done that earlier since i forgot i'm doing it now next i just tie my hair into a ponytail make sure the ponytail is quite high so that you can see the ponytail exceed the top of your head it should be quite visible from full-face
so if it's not high enough it won't look as expected once it's done, i take (once again) back my left hair and i tie them at the top of my head, where is the hairtie as if you didn't left those hair, but tied them together but of course you can't fake it, it's not part of the ponytail in fact those two side strands attached together on the upper part will give more volume it's a tip to make more volume and it gives a little rã©tro touch
wich is typical of larme styles don't forget to backcomb a little your hair then for my bangs i use my iron again again to do this, you must try several times to get how to do it but it's not hard at all either with an iron on a curler you have to secure the bangs and wrap them on the inside when it's done you can comb a little or use your fingers to spare the hair
for the 2nd makeup i started from the same base but here we will use eyeshadow so it's better if you use a eye primer first now i use the naked basics to do a slight eyeshadow on the corners of my eyes this will make your eyes look bigger and give a softer side to your makeup next, i mix two light beige colours to blend it all with the shadow
it will soften the shadows because here i think i've kind of messed up with the shadow, it's too much ;_; so this will blend the shadow and make it lighter then, i use a brighter colour, wich is a little shiny that i apply in the inner corner of the eye many people use this makeup trick to make their eyes looks bigger, especially in japanese fashion next, i'll use a darker brown as an eyeliner just as if i used a pencil or a liquid eyeliner
like my video's 1rst makeup, i try to make it quite thin and long, more than my natural eyeline so it will stretch (or lengthen haha?) my eye be sure to cover all your eye from the inner to the outside as my lashes are very long but not well shaped i use a eyelash curler next i'll put fake eyelashes on my eyes i go for black natural lashes then i will use a lipstick
this one is between dark pink and red from esthã©e lauder as for the 1rst makeup i use the lipstick to do the blush i try to apply it around the same area than before but i try to spread it a little more till the outside corner of my cheeks as you can see i don't put it right under the eye but in a lower area
and i spread it to the corner of my cheeks it should look natural, yet a little loud i know it's not clear on the camera in real i can tell it looks louder next i use a dior palette and i will use the pink blush of this palette just as the previous makeup, to fix my blush so i try to use a pink close to my lipstick tint and now i put some more under my eyes
finaly i use the lipstick as you can see i don't apply it with my fingers but i use right on the stick once again, it shouldn't be perfect covered but it needs to be loud so i put a lot next i use a transparent gloss from kiko glossy lips are totally larme you can see that in almost every issue
now regarding the hair, i will once again divide them i take my side locks and pin it with my bangs and i put all aside so now i'll focus on the rest and i will make two pigtails with it it's better to curl your hair before this as mine were already curled i didn't do it again it gives more volume to your pigtails and it's easier to do before you tie them !
so i make two basic side pigtails i do a low tail, near my ears slightly under the ear in fact and if you tighten it a little it will look more voluminous once it's done, loosen the pigtail at the rubber band area so that it makes more volume at the top this kind of trick gives your hairstyle a kind of
'effortless' side, wich is a word used a lot to describe larme aesthetics and makes your hair have more volume as i personally have thin hair i find it useful to do this trick when i do ponytails or pigtails next i backcomb a little the tail try not to destroy the curls but make you tails fluffier
then i curl my side hair and at the end, i style my bangs using a iron again in the same way that the 1rst hairstyle except that this time, i will divide my hair into 3 sections i take the 1rst (right section) and try to style it on the right the 2nd section (center), to the inner and the last section (left) on the left
here we go again with my foundation/concealer base this time i'm using a dior eyeshadow palette i will use shades of pink first i use a light baby pink that i apply on the upper lid, on the outside corner i apply it on the upper lid and under my bottom lashes in a thin line, just as an eyeliner next i'll use a darker pink and put it just under my eye
as close as possible from my iris area it should really be under this area next, i use dark brown to make an eyeline so the line is once again done with eyeshadow though this time, i will apply over the line another layer of black liner so why two eyelines? because soft brown mixed my thin black line will give your eye a smoother look
less strong as if you only used black eyeliner (and of course louder than only brown) it's a tip i've seen on the larme issues you add a black liquid eyeline with a powder brown one next i use a brown classic mascara then pink eye pencil to cover the inner part of bottom eyeline this time i use a pink powder blush i wanted something subtle and smooth
so i've chosen a light pink tint then i finish my blush with the pink eyeshadow i used for my eyes i apply some between my eye and the cheek area so that it will even out this area just as earlier, i try to add more under my iris's location i don't know if you can see it well next i use a liquid lip lacquer this one is from bourjois
it's new and it's not bad at all it's slightly coloured but it's definitely more pigmented than a gloss so it's something between lipstick and gloss and i apply over it a pink gloss because it's never enough 8d after all, this makeup is softer than the two previous so i'm realllyyyyyy sorry i've had trouble with this part of the video and i deleted some important parts
(so just imagine haha) here i've divided my side hair from the rest and taken some locks from the sides as you can see i've taken way more locks than only my 'hime cut' i've even taken some long locks and i stick these locks to the top of my head (i use bobby pins to secure them, in a symmetrical way) and then, i add a small bow on the top of my bangs ♥ bonjour ♥ !
so it was my very first video i hope you liked it and i hope it was easy to understand so i'm not very confident with video editing stuff but, i slowly get better at it so you'll probably notice changes on the next videos i might change some things so if you have any suggestion or concrits feel free to tell me !
so i will be able to do better next time ! and it will be more pleasant for you to watch ♥ so i'm chieko, i'm 21 years old i've always been in love with japanese fashion that's why i decided to open a channel in fact i was often asked to share my ideas tutorials
and tips to know how i dress up and so on and lately, i feel that larme is getting popular in occident larme-kei is a trendy japanese style right now you've probably already heard about larme-kei it's a trend that comes from the magazine larme there is an entry on my blog in which i explain what it is larme is quite hard to define
so i don't know if i'll make a video about it but if you want to know more about it, you shoud read my blog post if you don't have any clue of what it looks like so there will be different categories on my channel first, tips & faq so basically i'll answer your questions and i'll try to advice you on whatever subject and things such as "10 tips to do that" "or do that" and stuff and i might make videos about one big question
that means something important to me next will be the tutorials category mostly about makeup and hairstyling because i didn't think of anything else right now so these would be the main issues those tutorials would be mainly about larme-kei and japanese trends plus lolita fashion because i wear it too and i think it would be interesting
to make tutorials about lolita fashion so that lolita won't die in my opinion, lolita is getting less and less popular and it's a shame because it's always the same coords and all then the lookbook part will be focused on clothing i like on outfits special outfits for specific events and stuff
then a vlog category so videos about events, shooting, meetups and other things i want to show you about shootings, there will be backstage exclusives wether it's jfashion-related or not because these kind of things are part of my life and other thing included in the vlog part is the section fashion talk
in wich i'll talk about fashion issues tell how i feel about this trend or this trend so i was already told a lot of things about my channel contents suggestions and ideas for my next videos and i've been really inspired by your suggestions so i want to thank you all for giving me ideas everything was really interesting so i keep that in mind
so i'll probably make videos about all that so i hope you enjoyed my video and i hope you'll watch the next ones thanks for watching and see you ! ♥
