hi, guys. my name is tina and for today's hair tutorial, i'm going to show you a quick & easy, everyday half-up, half-down updo that you can do on yourself for informal or formal occasion. i'm doing this hairstyles with curls, because it was curled the day before but you can definitely do this on straight hair as well. starting from the left, take a small section of hair from the crown to eyebrow level, and start clockwise twisting it towards the back back. and then keep hold of the strands with your left hand.
do the same thing on the right side, except you twist it in a counter-clockwise motion. and then you gather both strands and tie it up with an elastic band. after tying up the 2 hair twists, make an inverted ponytail, and then start pulling, and fluffing, and voluminize the half-up, half-down do, you just made. take a small section of hair from the right, and start twisting it counter-clockwise towards the back. take another small section on the left and start clockwise twisting it towards the back. and when your hairstyle feels secure enough, just pull out a few strands to voluminize this half-up updo and you're done. oh, and you can use a hair pin - a fancy hair pin,
