hey guys so today iâ´m going to show you 2easy half up half down hairstyles, that would be perfect for prom, so i really hope youlike them and letâ´s get into it! the first thing you have to do is to is totease the back part of your hair to give the hair a lot of volume when you have teased the hair then take ayour brush and lightly brush the top layer of your hair so its nice and smooth now take all the hair you teased and gatherit on the back of your head and again use the brush to make the top layer nice and smooth when you have done that then push the hairup just a little bit to create some volume
and then secure the hair with some bobby pins now you are going to take a section of hairright next to the hair you pined up and then take a hair clip and clip that away to keepit separate form the other hair and then do the exact same thing on the other side soyou have to sections of hair when you have section on each side then bringthem to the back of your head and tie them together with an elastic on top of the bobby pins now you can add a pretty hairclip to hidethe elastic, you can also take some ribbon that matches your dress and tie that intoa bow and a third option is to take som hair from under the ponytail and wrap that aroundand secure it with a bobby pin and when you
have done that, then you are done with hairstylenumber 1 in the next hairstyle we are going to braid,so the first thing you have to do is to braid the top section of your hair into a waterfallbraid. a waterfall braid almost have the same technique as a french braid the only thingthat is different, is that every time you are going to take the lower strand and crossit into the middle, you have to drop it instead and take a new strand of hair right next toit and the cross that into the middle instead and that is what gives the waterfall effect to the braid if you want a more in depth video then i willlink my waterfall braid step by step video down below so you are going to continue braiding this braid until you reach the back of your head, so you have used about
half of your hair, and when you reach the back then braid the hair a few times like a normal braid and then tie it of with an elastic now you are going to do the exact same thingon the other side, so you have 2 braids when both braids are done, then tie them togetherwith an elastic and then take out the other elastics and then undo the braids again you can use a pretty hairclip or somehair to cover the elastic or use some ribbon that matches your dress and tie that intoa bow to cover up the elastic and when you have done that, then you are done with hairstylenumber 2 so i really hope you liked these hairstyles,if you did then please give this video a thumbs
