{music} hi guys! we are starting this style on a stretched curl former set moisturized with water and myhomemade shea butter cream and i trimmed it again!now almost all the hair color is gone, i'm so excited! ok, so let me show you the hairstyle make a deep side part making sure it's nice and clean then we're gonna do the same thing to the other side and we are gonna fix up that back part a bit, it doesn't need to be perfect and then we're going to twist the hair and clip it out of the way
we're gonna make a deep angled side part going from the top and down behind the ear and twist that front section clippingit out of the way. now repeat on the other side ok one more part, just make a cleanmiddle part all the way down the back grab one of those sides, twist it, and clip it out of the way grabbing that back half that we didn't clip up i'm gonna prep it with some castor oil this oil is a little thick and it's gonna help keep my fly aways in control, and it's really nourishing bring that section up so that it's now hanging towards the front of your head and we're gonna make a flat twist going from bottom to top if you've never made a flat twist beforeit simply twisting small sections of
hair together adding in new sections asyou twist down or in this case up and when there's no more sections to add just like normal i'm spritzing with water here to help condense the hair and making it easier to get a sleek twist and again i've already moisturised prior tostyling. once you've reached the bottom of the twist i'm just gonna wrap it intoa bantu knot to keep it stretched and out of way while i work on other sectionsnow do the same thing to the other half in the back we're gonna bring it upwards so it hangstowards the front of the head and i'm flat twisting from bottom to top adding in new sections with each twist and if you've never twisted from bottom to
top its really easy just takes a littlepractice and reprogramming the one thing you really want to make sure to do istwist each side in the opposite direction that way your twist lookuniform. the first time i did this i made the mistake of twisting both sides inthe same direction and as you can see it was hella wacktwist both sides in opposite directions for a more uniform look. we've reachedthe end of our twist and we're gonna wrap it around into a bantu knot for safekeeping and move onto the sides working one side at a time we're gonna make a small flat twist working from the front to the back and with the each twist on the side you want to always make sure that the texture is facing upwards
that way you can see it. whenthere's no more hair to add, just keep twisting like normal when you reach the end twirl itinto a bantu knot and move on to the other side we're going to repeat the sameexact thing flat twisting from front to back so now i'm releasing all those bantu knots i have two in the back and two in the front working one side at a time i'm gonnacombine the back and front twist together and i'm gonna bring it up andaround the back just pulling it gently place the end of that combined twistbetween the twist on the other side and bobby pin in place. now repeating thesame thing on the other side combining the back and front twistbringing it up and around the back and
then bobby pin that ends in place and if it's sticking out just tuck it in. alright now i'm gently securing those twists tothe back of my head with bobby pins so they don't budge. releasing that front section i'm gonna be using medium-sized perm rods to create curls and we're using twodifferent perm rods here for two different types of curls. i'm only gonna use a bit more water and my shea butter cream to set the curl and when i roll, i just wrap the end around the bottom of the perm rod and then rotating my wrists to twist the hair over that wrapped andend up the remainder of the perm locking the hair in place and that's it cap that perm rod and keep it movin'. repeat that same process all over the remainder of your
head working in small sections at a time when you're done just toss a loose satinscarf on and head the bed i let this air dry overnight and in the morning it was completely dry and ready for me to take those rollers out you can see my highlights are almost completely gone now and my hair is starting to come back to life i was so excited to see my hair being full and bouncy again i'm grabbing a tiny bit of argan oil i'm going to cover my fingers in it so i can separate the curls without creating frizz now we have some awesome volume on top grabbing a tiny bit of castor oil i'm gonna use this to set and nourish my edges
it also helps me smooth my hairback i'm gonna place these curls where i like them bobby pin the hair in place and that's it. a super cute and easy updo that looks like an edgy tapered haircut. and it's a great way to add variety if you're someone with medium to long hair and you wanna rock that shortlook for a little bit a semi protective style that's great for so many occasions i hope you guys enjoyed this look,i hope the video was helpful and if you give this style a try, make sure you hashtag naptural85 so i can check it out and leave a comment thank you so much for watching and i'll see in the next one
