[intro music] hey guys! it's abby from twist me pretty i am back with cgh today to show you guys how to get this really pretty fishtail updo i know homecoming is coming up soon so i just wanted to share something that would be a little bit fancier and yeah! i hope you guys enjoy this tutorial make sure to subscribe below to cgh so you don't miss any of our future videos and let's get started!
gather a small triangle shaped section next to your part on the thinner side and then divide the hair into two sections and we're going to be doing a dutch fishtail braid so take a sliver of hair from the front section and pass it on under and over to the next section and i find it easiest to just rotate my wrist and then you're going to take a sliver of hair from the back section and pass it under and over to the next section and this is just the start of your fishtail braid
so repeat this one more time and this is where we're going to start out french fishtail braid so you're going to take a sliver of hair from the front section and pass it under that front section and combine it with the back now we're just going to add in some new pieces of hair so take a small section of hair from the front and pass it under that front section and combine it with the back section and take a small section of hair from the back section, pass it to the front
add in a new section of hair pass it on under and combine it with that front section, and this is your dutch french fishtail braid, so we are just gonna go ahead and repeat this steps until about the top of your ear, and then we are just gonna finish it up with a regular fishtail braid before tying it off, we are just going to go ahead and spread out this braid, just to make it look
a little bit more thick and full, and then tie it off with a a clear elastic now we are gonna repeat the french dutch fishtail braid on the other side, i'm leaving out a little bit of my bangs and you are just gonna braid this all the way down that hair line, just kind of following your natural hairline until about your ears, and then you're gonna
turn it into a regular fishtail braid fluff it out and tie it off. now, you are going to put the hair that's down into a low little messy bun, so i pull the hair most of the way through once, and then wrap the clear elastic around the hair one more time, and i only pulled the hair, only part of the way through, and then i go back in with bobby pins to make sure it's
really secure and looking how i want. if you have a lot of hair, go ahead and use a thicker elastic, you can also split the hair into two messy buns and just kind of smoosh them together using bobby pins to make it look like one pretty bun. when your bun looks the way you want take your fishtail braids, and just loosely
drape them over the top of your bun and then secure with bobby pins if you've left your bangs out, go ahead and wrap them around a one inch wand, pull them straight so it's not too curly, and you are done! i hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did, come over to my channel and say "hi" it's "twist me pretty", i'll make sure to leave a link in the description box. i do a lot of
