hello everyone! i’m back today with a hair tutorial. i'm gonna show you how to do one of ariana grande’s hairstyle. it’s her signature half up half down ponytail. i think it’s fun and flirty, and this hairstyle is great for school or everyday occasions. to start, divide out your bangs or any section that you would like to leave in the front. pull your hair back into a half up half down ponytail, going in a slight diagonal line. go ahead and tie this section off with thin elastics, making sure that the ponytail sits high on your head. take a small section of hair underneath your ponytail and wrap it around the elastics a few times to hide them. now grab that section and tie it with some hair from your ponytail to join those two together. i like this way of hiding your hair ties better than using bobby pins because it won’t hurt your head and it’ll stay secured.
when your ponytail is done, you can leave it straight for a casual look or you can curl it for something more dressy. after that, tease your hair to make it more volumized. fix your hair to your liking and you’re done! this look kind of reminds me of a genie, and i think it’s a fun spring and summer hairstyle to wear to parties. for a sweet look, you can add a hairbow on top. this yellow one was handmade from a cute shop called ohmybows. to make this hairstyle more bold, you canpull your bangs back and pin them down. this is an easy way to keep your hair out of your face and make it look more edgy. to transition this into a ponytail hairstyle, all you have to do is tie your bottom layers underneath the top ponytail that you created earlier.
